Commentary:

Ollinia (from nahuatl: To move around)
In the Ollinia series, I work with two materials: glass and rubber. Though opposite in appearance they share similar transmutations before becoming its final form, that is why I am pulled to work with and combine both materials. Also both have been used since antiquity in their natural form; glass was originated in Mesopotamia, rubber in Mesoamerica and both were appreciated by their practical use, by their metafisical associations and certainly by their intrinsec material quality.
